The Unforgettable Treat!

2 weeks ago, I received a mail from my friend - Sangy, saying that she is coming to Bangalore on her way back to Pune from Paris. She had been to Paris for some official (God only knows!) trip. She was asking me to meet up once she come there as its been long time since we all met. Also she asked me to coordinate with Munch, another stupid friend of mine... In fact both these friends of mine are going to getting married soon and hence I'v been expecting a treat from both of these (though both of them are big time misers...). Also there was another common friend of me and Sangy, her name is Anu (happily married and settled in balgalore) who is working in my company. She asked me to check whether she can meet with her as well. We have been communicating through emails.. She was replying to all our mails very interestingly until I sent Sangy a small list of items (very obvious) which she was requested/ordered to bring from Paris (idiot, Kanjuse #$@#!$!#$)... after that no response!! She just sent a mail to us saying that she will meet us on Friday.. That’s it!!How mean!

My plan was - to meet, both Sangy and Munch, get treats from both of them and then take Sangy to Anu's house so naturally she will also treat us with some feast as we have never been to her house before.. Ahem ahem.. And I called up Anu and told, I will take Sangy to her house by around 4PM so that she can prepare Chicken biriyani :) I told her That is what Sangy expect( ME)..).. To my surprise, Anu agreed!!! ahem ahem.. I thought 4PM meal is fixed now. Now lunch.. Munch recently got engaged, so that treat is also pending... Ahem ahem.. To my surprise all have agreed to treat!! God, what’s happening!! ahem ahem...

So Friday morning after the work, I reached room.. I was trying to install a game (NFS) in my laptop.. but it was giving some stupid error and because of that i couldn't sleep till 11, as I went to bed, I got Munch's call saying Sangy has reached and we shall meet up at 12PM in forum mall. I said, You guys carry on, I shall catch up by 4pm.. Then she said - “no no.. Sangy is sponsoring lunch for us.. So let’s all meet by 1pm only..” Ok fine, I agreed. I took bath and went straight to Forum mall.. From there I called them up... They said, they are in Westside, doing some shopping.. My first mistake.. I went to a shopping center to meet them.. I really did not understand even after they got nothing to buy they were checking out each and every products.. I was like @#$!#$!##!$...
After some 40mins of so called shopping, we came out.. Then she was asking lets have snacks, because Sangy's cousin brother would be joining us for the lunch.. I thought great.. Let me start killing Munch first, then lunch with Sangy then 4pm chicken biriyani with Anu.. But then I came to know, that stupid Anu had chosen second shift and escaped silently.. :( - Chicken biriyani cut! However as Munch asked what we will have, I said, ok lets have 1 bucket chicken from KFC.. They both said yes, and went inside.. I was outside as if I was busy with a phone call.. Smart na ;)
but they turned out smarter than me.. They came back to me and started saying “we are treating you with lunch, you treat us with snacks!!!" Though I tried to resist for a while, I had to give up as people started staring at us.. So one bucket KFC chicken sponsored by me!! :( How sad!

As soon as we finished that, Sangy said, hey cousin has come, let’s go and have lunch now..She thought she is smart, as after having a bucket of KFC chicken our stomach would been full. But she never knew me... ha ha ha.. We straight away went to Empirer and where I ordered items by looking at the right hand side part of the menu!! :D Chicken kabab, chilly chicken, fish fry, chilly prawns, chicken biriyani, mutton biriyani, prawns biriyani, bla bla bla.. I didn’t even know which all dishes i ordered, though I could hear Sangy yelling, you order whatever you want, but make sure you eat everything... ahem ahem... We spend nearly 2 hours and then its was Munch's turn... She also thought, now she can easily offer anything, as after KFC, then Empire there would be much space left inside our stomach to empty her pocket!! ahem ahem... Though we had ordered cold coffee and all from Empire, Sangy and me wanted much to take us to Cafe coffee day! she easily agreed, thinking which won't hurt her much! Poor Munch, She didn’t know that we are all prepared to have another feast at CCD!! ahem ahem.. There as well the RHS item ordering went on.. and she also got enough :D..
So finally, that day has become a memorable day for 3 of us! Only Sangy's Cousin Brother got escaped. I didn't know him personally, else ahem ahem... ;)
Finally while going back, Sangy gave me a big chocolate (The only thing she got me from France!!!) However, that day evening I exchanged it with Anu in the office for 2 Fish fries which she had prepared and brought for dinner!!(I love barter system :P) ahem ahem..

But in the end of the day, It was a memorable day as we had lots of fun laughing all the time... To be frank we all were laughing our heart out from 12PM onwards.... :) Had real fun.. Anu - You missed it... I life is blessed with friends like these.. :) Thanks to you all... Muaaah!!

Life is FUN

Hi all,

Good day to you all... I was wondering all these while about how different is life to each and everyone... If you just look at the each individual, you will realize that, everyone has everything in life - hope, love, affection, hatred, happiness, break ups, sorrows, loneliness, selfishness, attractions, frustrations, infatuations, crush, accidents, surprises and lot more other emotions and feelings those may not be able to define... Everyone experiences or go through these stages.. But not in a defined manner.. No one is sure about what, where and when things are going to happen... And I guess this uncertainty of life makes it more enjoyable at times.. Else there would be no fun...

So let me come to the matter here.. Last month I had been to my hometown to meet my parents and friends.. And my mom told me that we have some guests at home from US those were my Dad's best friend's (Peter Uncle) kids - Joji, Regi, Lizzy and her kid Akshay... Peter Uncle - We call him as "Chachan" and his family is very close to us... He and his wife are in US now. He could not come to India as he is very old and also suffering from amnesia... But his children say, Chachan still remembers my dad very well..


They used to come here once in 2 years or so. But this time I came to know that they have come here for an important function. i.e. Lizzy chechi's marriage. I was clueless as she had come with her kid Akshay - a 10 year old cute boy.. She is into her mid 30s but she looks not more than 25.. She looks so pretty with her very thick long hair (almost touching her back knees) she is a very humble and loving woman i have ever seen.. And I could not believe that she got divorced. And I knew that she has got a very decent job and earns huge there.. It was she who brought her husband to US after their marriage. I really felt bad for what happened to her life..

Then My mother explained me the real story..
Her husband actually used her to reach US and then he got addicted to drugs and also he had an affair with another woman. They got separated (She had to give half of her properties to him as per US rules) and he got married to that other girl. After that she was living with her kid alone for the last 5-6 years.. And now her kid little Akshay, wanted her to get married as he found that she might find it difficult to take care of things all alone.. (Hats-off to little Akashay). And I was amazed to hear that its because of his decision she decided to think of a second marriage... She is lucky to have a son like him...
Their engagement was on the day I reached my hometown. It’s just 9kms away from my house. Only 10-15 close family members and my family were present for that small function... There I saw different faces of life:
Happy but curious Lil' Alshay.. Very much tensed Lizzy chechi, as she is very much worried about her future husband.. May be she is still having the bitter past in her mind... Also I could see Joji uncle and Reji uncle with tensed faces as they are also worried about their little sister's second marriage [of course they are].. There are kids who are playing around.. Having fun... There was the priest who is doing the prayers for the new couple.. The new bridegroom and his family came all the way from 200KMS for this engagement function.. The photographer who is looking out to capture the less but important moments for them… Catering people are waiting to serve the food.... A lot of mixed emotions and feelings.. And Me who is watching all these silently in that hall.. Though I could see her smiling, knew that what was going through her mind.... Hmm.. All she can do is to pray to the God and be positive...

They were staying in our house for another 4-5 days before they left to US. And while we were just talking to each other one late night, they had told me how uncertain the life can be... They said they struggled a lot before they all got settled in US... and once they all settled in US they had lots of fun.. all of their siblings got married and settled in US.. They earn more than enough for a luxyary life... There wasn’t any chance for a sadness in their life.. But still it happened.. So they advised me, not to just be happy or worried about the situation what we are in right now... We should move on.. When we have a good time or a bad time, remember that there is a future awaiting us.. So be truthful to you and your family.. Believe in God... and have a wonderful life.. :)

Life has got all the ingredients to make a rare blend of happiness, love, sadness, loneliness, madness, hatred, fun, surprises etc... It’s you who decides how to mix it all together and whether to cry or laugh.. to feel sad or be happy... to be with friends or be alone...


It’s your life... blend it - the way you wanted! Have fun...

A real surprise!

Hey friends..

Its been so long since I wrote something here.. Was bit busy with some official and personal work all this while... however, I got to share a glad news here with you all... I hope, you all would have read the post about my great phone friend Manjukkuty! (http://i-am-jithu.blogspot.com/2008/02/waitingwith-heart-full-of-hopes.html). In fact i was in tears while writing both the posts... The difference is that the first one was written with a broken heart... But this one is with a more relaxed mind...

It was on a boring Sunday of May, I was surfing through the internet... downloading movies... Chit chatting with some of my friends, reading movie reviews etc.. But suddenly, I got to see an alert for someone just logged in... I was half sleepy but shocked to see the person who just logged in... Its my dear friend Manjukkutty! For a while I felt like I might be dreaming... Because I used to day dreams those days... but then she pinged me..." Jithuchettayeee....".. I was like... Shocked to believe my senses... In fact I was forced to believe that she had passed away after her surgery as I didn’t get to hear from her for such a long period.. I asked her "is it really you or someone else.." then she replied with her regular humor sense.. "No its my soul from heaven chatting with you...".. I was so happy to see her in her normal mood.. Then I asked her about the surgery and all.. she replied "No one can take me that easily to the top world as I had put on lots of weight these days". The same old naughty manjukkutty!
In fact I couldn’t talk to her much, as she had to sign out.. But she told me the whole story in short.. She had successfully undergone the heart surgery and was taking rest at her brother's house in Chennai... She is completely out of danger now.. And the doctors said it’s a miracle to get her back to life.. She still needs to take rest for some more months before she could get back to normal life... She just got a chance to come online from a laptop.. And she didn't miss that chance... :) [No wonder].
However, I am so happy to see her back in action... I wish her a great happy life ahead... I must thank you each and everyone who had shared their wishes and prayers for her long life... Thanks to all of you for your prayers and wishes..

Its a great feeling when we get to see someone back in life whom we believed to be lost for ever.. It is more pleasing when we get back our dear friend in a world where we lose friends everyday!

All I need to tell you people is just one thing - God is great; trust him and he will never let you down...
