Fancy About Diesel Vehicles??? Read this!!!
Low running? Wait for longer to recover costs
Now, it is understandable that an average Indian cannot put 45,000kms on the odometer annually considering the average run of an Indian being around 15,000kms per year. So does that totally rule out the diesel option? Well, no. Reverse calculating the amount of money saved on fuel (See: Case 2) by using a diesel car amounts to Rs. 30,500 annually after deduction of service costs for both the vehicles. Even so, after adding interest on the additional amount paid by a buyer at the time of purchase the diesel would be at par with the petrol variant mid-way through the third year. At the end of the fourth year with an annual running of 15,000kms, the money you would have saved in terms of running costs in a diesel would cover up the extra price you have paid, and you would have saved an extra Rs 9,700 as well. Only at the end of the fifth year do things begin to look rosy for diesels, with around Rs 40,000 saved in running costs over these five years.
The value of a Rs 4.95 lakh petrol car will be reduced by Rs 2.47 lakh at the end of five years. The value of a Rs 5.85 lakh diesel car on the other hand will be reduced by Rs 2.92 lakh – that’s Rs 45,000 lost straight in depreciation for a diesel.
This is an extreme scenario, we accept. The market dynamics for more-in-demand second hand diesel car space may result in lesser depreciation, and a better resale price. Either ways, the Rs 40,000 that a diesel user may gain after using the car for five years starts looking less rosy once you factor in depreciation as well.
Although, with the price of petrol is as high as Rs. 70/litre, the diesel may seem like a more affordable option, it may not necessarily be so. The diesel starts making economic sense for users who either have a run of 45,000kms annually or those who plan to retain the car for atleast five years or till the time they hit 50,000 kms on the odometer. And for those who have much less travelling to do in a car, the petrol still makes for a better buy.
Psychological satisfaction is of utmost importance to an Indian customer; and along with it comes the mental peace of not having to refuel a diesel car every few days unlike the petrol equal which is pretty much perpetually thirsty. But, simply the fact that the diesel needn’t be refueled very frequently doesn’t make it a more economical option. A diesel starts making sense only when you have a run of at least 15,000kms anything less than that and diesel will smartly fool you into feeling richer just because you end up filling fuel less frequently.
It is not just the thirst for fuel of petrol cars that brings diesel vehicles into the lime light. The numbers before you clearly state, that you should consider buying a diesel only if your monthly run exceeds a 1000 kilometres. In fact our thesis was endorsed by Toyota at the recent launch of the Etios and Liva diesels, where they made it very clear that for a diesel to start looking rosy; one has to run it for nearly 2000kms a month. The numbers are before you, so remember that with a diesel, you would still be paying that extra cash for the first three-four years of running for the satisfaction of driving a diesel. It still is a case of different strokes for different folks, and choice still remains in the hands of the buyer. Hope this article helps you make a more informed one.

Company Policy & Procedures
Each time a monkey tries to climb the ladder, all the monkeys are sprayed with ice water, which makes them miserable.
Soon enough, whenever a monkey attempts to climb the ladder, all of the other monkeys, not wanting to be sprayed, set upon him and beat him up.
Soon, none of the eight monkeys ever attempts to climb the ladder.
One of the original monkeys is then removed, and a new monkey is put in the room. Seeing the bananas and the ladder, he wonders why none of the other monkeys are doing the obvious, but, undaunted, he immediately begins to climb the ladder.
All the other monkeys fall upon him and beat him silly. He has no idea why. However, he no longer attempts to climb the ladder.
A second original monkey is removed and replaced.
The newcomer again attempts to climb the ladder, but all the other monkeys hammer the crap out of him.
This includes the previous new monkey, who, grateful that he's not on the receiving end this time, participates in the beating because all the other monkeys are doing it.
However, he has no idea why he's attacking the new monkey.
One by one, all the original monkeys are replaced, eight new monkeys are now in the room. None of them have ever been sprayed by ice water. None of them attempt to climb the ladder.
All of them will enthusiastically beat up any new monkey who tries, without having any idea why.
AND THAT'S HOW VERY MANY COMPANY POLICIES & PROCEDURES GET ESTABLISHED.

Abstract from the writings of a guy who was flying from JFK Airport to SFO to attend a meeting.
*Four years ago, I was flying from JFK NY Airport to SFO to attend a meeting at Monterey , CA. An American girl was sitting on the right side, near window seat. It indeed was a long journey - it would take nearly seven hours. *
*I was surprised to see the young girl reading a Bible unusual of young Americans. After some time she smiled and we had few acquaintances talk. I told her that I am from India*
*Then suddenly the girl asked: 'What's your faith?' 'What?' I didn't understand the question..*
*'I mean, what's your religion? Are you a Christian? Or a Muslim?'*
*'No!' I replied, 'I am neither Christian nor Muslim'. Apparently she appeared shocked to listen to that. 'Then who are you?' 'I am
a Hindu', I said.*
*She looked at me as if she was seeing a caged animal. She could not understand what I was talking about.*
*A common man in Europe or US knows about Christianity and Islam, as they are the leading religions of the world today. But a Hindu, what?.*
*I explained to her - I am born to a Hindu father and Hindu mother.
Therefore, I am a Hindu by birth.*
*'Who is your prophet?' she asked.*
*'We don't have a prophet,' I replied.*
*'What's your Holy Book?'*
*'We don't have a single Holy Book, but we have hundreds and thousands of philosophical and sacred scriptures,' I replied.*
*'Oh, come on at least tell me who is your God?'*
*'What do you mean by that?'*
*'Like we have Jesus and Muslims have Allah - don't you have a God?'*
*I thought for a moment. Muslims and Christians believe one God (Male God) who created the world and takes an interest in the humans who inhabit it. Her mind is conditioned with that kind of belief.*
*According to her (or anybody who doesn't know about Hinduism), a religion needs to have one Prophet, one Holy book and one God. The mind is so conditioned and rigidly narrowed down to such a notion that anything else is not acceptable. I understood her perception and concept about faith. You can't compare Hinduism with any of the present leading religions where you have to believe in one concept of god.*
*I tried to explain to her: 'You can believe in one god and he can be a Hindu.. You may believe in multiple deities and still you can be a Hindu. What's more - you may not believe in god at all, still you can be a Hindu. An atheist can also be a Hindu.'*
*This sounded very crazy to her. She couldn't imagine a religion so unorganized, still surviving for thousands of years, even after onslaught from foreign forces.*
*'I don't understand but it seems very interesting. Are you religious?' What can I tell to this American girl?*
*I said: 'I do not go to temple regularly. I do not make any regular rituals. I have learned some of the rituals in my younger days. I still
enjoy doing it sometimes..'*
*'Enjoy? Are you not afraid of God?'*
*'God is a friend. No- I am not afraid of God. Nobody has made anycompulsions on me to perform these rituals regularly.'*
*She thought for a while and then asked: 'Have you ever thought of converting to any other religion?'*
*'Why should I?. Even if I challenge some of the rituals and faith in Hinduism, nobody can convert me from Hinduism. Because, being a Hindu allows me to think independently and objectively, without conditioning. I remain as a Hindu never by force, but choice.' I told her that Hinduism is not a religion, but a set of beliefs and practices. It is not a religion like Christianity or Islam because it is not founded by any one person or does not have an single organized controlling body like the Church or the Order, I added. There is no single institution or authority.*
*'So, you don't believe in God?' she wanted everything in black and white.*
*'I didn't say that. I do not discard the divine reality. Our scripture, or Sruthis or Smrithis - Vedas and Upanishads or the Gita - say God might be there or he might not be there. But we pray to that supreme abstract authority (Para Brahma) that is the creator of this universe.'*
*'Why can't you believe in one personal God?'*
*'We have a concept - abstract - not a personal god. I don't think that God wants others to respect him or fear him.' I told her that such notions are just fancies of less educated human imagination and fallacies, adding that generally ethnic religious practitioners in Hinduism believe in personal gods. The entry level Hinduism has over-whelming superstitions too. The philosophical side of Hinduism negates all superstitions..*
*'Good that you agree God might exist. You told that you pray. What is your prayer then?'*
*'Loka Samastha Suk ino Bhavantu. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti,'*
*'Funny,' she laughed, 'What does it mean?'*
*'May all the beings in all the worlds be happy. Om Peace, Peace, Peace.'*
*'Hmm ..very interesting.. I want to learn more about this religion. It is so democratic, broad-minded and free' she exclaimed.*
*'The fact is Hinduism is a religion of the individual, for the individual and by the individual with its roots in the Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita. It is all about an individual approaching a personal God in an individual way according to his temperament and inner evolution - it is as simple as that.'*
*anybody convert to Hinduism?'*
*'Nobody can convert you to Hinduism, because it is not a religion, but a set of beliefs, practices and a way of life and culture. Everything is acceptable in Hinduism because there is no single authority or organization either to accept it or to reject it or to oppose it on behalf of Hinduism.'*
*For a real seeker, I told her, the Bible itself gives guidelines when it says ' Kingdom of God is within you.' I reminded her of Christ's teaching about the love that we have for each other. That is where you can find the meaning of life.*
*Loving each and every creation of the God is absolute and real. 'Isavasyam idam sarvam' Isam (the God) is present (inhabits) here everywhere - nothing exists separate from the God, because God is present everywhere. Respect every living being and non-living things as God. That's what Hinduism teaches you.*
*Hinduism is referred to as Sanathana Dharma, the eternal faith. It is based on the practice of Dharma, the code of life. The most important aspect of Hinduism is being truthful to oneself. Hinduism has no monopoly on ideas.- It is open to all. Hindus believe in one God (not a personal one) expressed in different forms. For them, God is timeless and formless entity.*
*Ancestors of today's Hindus believe in eternal truths and cosmic laws and these truths are opened to anyone who seeks them. But there is a section of Hindus who are either superstitious or turned fanatic to make this an organized religion like others. The British coin the word 'Hindu' and considered it as a religion.*
*I said: 'Religions have become an MLM (multi-level- marketing) industry that has been trying to expand the market share by conversion. The biggest business in today's world is Spirituality. Hinduism is no exception'*
*I am a Hindu primarily because it professes Non-violence - 'Ahimsa Paramo Dharma' - Non violence is the highest duty. I am a Hindu because it doesn't conditions my mind with any faith system. Also Hinduism was the first religion originated.
A man/ woman who change 's his/her birth religion to another religion is a fake and does not value his/her morals, culture and values in life.
Be proud of your religion and be proud of who you are.

Gone are the days...

Hey Friends,
I am back... :) It was a long gap indeed, but I could not help it.. The financial crisis did affect me as well :).. However, at this moment I write this topic praying that the days which are gone should come back soon.. :) For the last 4-5 years i have been working and right now I am with an MNC. I am here for the last 2 and half years.. When I read the papers and news all I could hear is nothing but recession.. Like many other companies we did not have any Layoffs till now however, we started to feel the heat slowly as the cost cutting started recently. At this moment its not the worse scenario...
Today, I happened to go through some of the old snaps of the parties we had in the past and in today time if I look at them, Its like winning the lotto.. We had times where we partied spending lacks in Pubs.. Resorts etc.. Just for one day our company spent more than 10Laks.. But today, we cant even think about 10% of it, in fact not 10% but nothing at all. We Participated in cricket tournaments paying 30000 Rupees and gained nothing. We get paid even if there was no work.. Everyone was enjoying life to the peak I must say..
But today, I don't see any company arranged parties anywhere and the company is not to be blamed. They just cannot afford it. I could never digest spending this much money just for the entertainment purpose. however, When they were making profit, they did spend for their employees and nobody had any problem. Now, When they stop all these, People started cribbing. I really do not understand how people can forget their past so easily. The company (I meant majority) pays for their employees when they make profit and when they do not, they do not have any other go than cost cutting. People just don't accept this truth. They always want to live in the golden days. Life is all about ups and downs and the current situation is just a part of it. Instead of blaming the company for canceling their free food coupons, please think about the other allowances and parties which your company offered when they were making profit. I would say that we should be with the company than looking for a new job in this situation. We should stand together as a unit to overcome the current patch our company is going through. I am sure that your loyalty will get paid.
We all know Newton's Law of equal and opposite reaction but If we had ever thought about that law in the past when we were blind with the profit that we made and spend money accordingly, who knows we might not have entered in a financial crisis like this. Now I could see one thing - People are trying hard to be productive. If its not for company's profit but for their own survival. Our cricket team is still playing tournaments. But those are not company sponsored but players pool in money and play. And I could see more better performance than that of the company sponsored as each one knows the value of the each penny they spend.
Enjoying life should not be like spending money like there is no tomorrow. As you and me, tomorrow is also real and we have to live then as well. So I belive, the current financial crisis will help people to know the value of money and to spend it sensibly. Gone are the days of blindness and coming are the days of more sensible and responsible peopel... The gone days will never be back IF we do not learn our lessons :)
I do not know who all will agree to this, but I surely feel this way..
Good day to you all..

Back to blogging...
Feb 21st early morning (around 2.30AM):
It was a must needed break for me to settle myself in the new project that i just joined in. In this time so many things happened in my life. some to cherish but sadly many to feel sad for. My mental state went on and off pretty often in this time but i could not just hold on to something known as a stable state till now.. Trying hard to come out of many of such barricades by trying to forgive and forget things in life...
I have no idea where am i heading to, but one thing for sure, I am in need of some help here... I realize that it should first come within me and am trying hard to tune my body to an auto mode which will at least free up my mind and soul for sometime...
As of now, It is all blank... I am disturbed due to lot many personal issues... nothing serious, but at times such SO called issues do hurt me! Hopefully i can write them down here to get some temporary relief to my hunted mind..

Live Stunt Performance
It was an eventful last Saturday… We had an internal cricket match – The BALLZ Trophy between SJR Warriors and PURVA Fighter, and were on our way to Flippers ground near Devanahalli airport early morning. I was with Rakesh, Munna, Murthy and Dev in his car.
We stopped near the ground for breakfast so that some more guys joined us in Yogi’s car. And we had one extra person who just came in by bus. So we called up Sunil to come by bike and pick that guy to the ground. As he came in I thought, I will go with Sunil. We started off and in between its engine stopped. We tried our best to start it but I didn’t. Then Dev’s car came in and his idea of opening the petrol lid while starting worked. (New Tip if your Bike is pulsar and it stopped in between you can try this tip – It was evolved from his years of experience it seems – Provided that your bike has enough fuel in the tank). So as Rakesh started the bike, he was interested in the ride. So Sunil got inside Dev’s car and we – Raki and me came by bike. We reached the ground before Dev’s car and I was standing near the parking waiting for them so that I can collect my kit from his car.
Almost all the brats were inside that car. As they were approaching the parking area which is in the side of the ground, don’t know who provoked Dev to frighten me -Dev thought of making me panic by taking the car closer to me in high speed… As I didn’t know about the stupid driving skills of Dev, I was expecting him to apply the brakes. It reminded many of the film Matrix where the hero stops the bullet with his hands… But in this case it was just an imagination. Whatever I expected didn’t happen.. He was very late to apply the brakes and it was so close to me and as the car was in high speed, it skidded and then hit me on my knees and my left hand his on the bonnet as I was trying to stop... It was awesome feeling to be thrown some 6-8 feet away in the air… especially after hit by a car!! (Trust me! I felt like I am bungee jumping) but then later I felt the fir in my A$$. My left palm was like being crushed! I was surprised to see that other than my left hand, no other damage!! Hmm, I am a very strong man – Bravo!!!! However after some 2minutes panic I was disappointed that I didn’t faint or anything else to give it a bit spicy touch. Luckily nothing happened to the car except some dents and curves on the bonnet… My other friends who were there standing on the other end of the ground came in hearing the loud noise… And all were in fact got surprised to see me in good shape. In fat I myself was so surprised!! I heard someone shouting, it’s like this car hit by a cargo truck!!! Grrrr.. I will find out that guy very soon… Though my left had swelling I played the match by putting bandage on my hand and applying the painkiller spray – Hmm The Lion heart fellow :P. In the end of the day, we the SJR Warriors won the first match in so called BALLZ Trophy.
PS: To all those who still wanted to take chances against me – Dev was hit by a bouncer and was forced to retired hurt! So guys “Mujse Panga nahin lene ka…” If at all I leave you, GOD wouldn’t leave you because I am his best buddy”
Good day!

The great Wipro Marathon!
On a fine evening of September; Sep-5th to be specific, I received a message from my friend KUMBA (that’s his pet name – KUMBA in our language means - Tummy) who works in Wipro, asking us to join for the Wipro marathon. He knows us very well that he had mentioned very clearly that there will be a Free T-shirt and food to everyone who participates in the marathon run... :). As it was on 6th morning 7 and I didn’t have any other work than sleeping, I thought I will not miss that T-shirt... Also, I can see some Great runners in my previous company whom I couldn’t meet when I was there at Wipro... Especially the female runners....LOL... My roommate was anyways not interested to come, as he didn’t want to trust KUMBA at all and waste his sleep on a Saturday morning, as KUMBA is notorious for playing prank on his friends always!! However, I decided to trust him and set the alarm to 6.30Am and hit the bed for a tight sleep...
Next day I got up at 6.30 and got ready, KUMBA picked me up from the Agara-junction and we were hurrying to the Wipro Sarjapur office, as we were getting late.. While going KUMBA was saying, - “Man No running business, just get the T-shirt and escape.. I can’t run early morning!!” As we were entering, the first marathon was kicking off, the shortest version - only 4kms! KUMBA asked me to register at the gates and he rushed inside the parking which is again some 100meters away from the Gates.
Before I could tell him that I need him with me while registering, he had already left the place... The security did not allow me to register as I was not a Wipro employee and also not guided by one! Finally I had to call up KUMBA to come back and register my name for the marathon. Being a born lazy bug, he tried to resolve it over the phone, but did not work...So he came back to the Gates - all the way by walk. I saw him wearing the Wipro's Marathon special T-shirt! I said, if I don’t get one, I am going to grab his T-shirt for sure... He said – “Come fast the shortest Marathon already started, we should join it; else we will have to run for the Longest one, which is 10kms...” I said, “Boss, Are we really going to run or we are here just to get the T-shirt and the free food??” Surprisingly he said – “My friends and colleagues are there, Lets at least participate and justify for taking the T-shirt!!” I was shocked to hear it from KUMBA!!Then I realized he was kidding... After all he is KUMBA! :D, His plan was to run till the main gate and join then escape from there, by limping.. Finally I got my T-shirt.. Half of the mission accomplished... Now we got to know one more thing... When we start the long marathon, later sometime, we will find the shortest marathon guys coming back to the start point... So we planned to start with the longer marathon and finish with the Short marathon guys: D...
So the marathon was started, and as per our plan, we saw the shortest marathon runners coming back soon after some 100meters from the main gate.. We were all set to limp.. Then we took a smart turn from a crowded place and started to run back as if we are dying to finish the 4km marathon... But as we were approaching the finishing line, we saw that everyone who returns to the finishing point got some blue paint sprayed on their t-shirt.. I felt happy... Good that we didn't go with them; else the t-shirt would be spoiled... I couldn't see KUMBA, as he was running to beat the real runners at the finishing line... I was not that big cheater like him, so I was walking towards the finishing line with some tired runners.. But as soon as I crossed the finishing line, one volunteer came to me and asked, "Hey you did not complete the run right??" I was shocked, how the hell he came to know this!! Anyways, I didn’t feel like lying.. I said - "No, I had a muscle pull.. So i came back walking...” Then later I came to now that, The blue paint I saw sprayed on them was a proof for them to reach the 2km spot before reaching the finish line... I looked around... Everyone except the volunteers has got the blue paint on their T-shirt!! And all are glaring at us!! ahem ahem.. Who cares, I am not working in Wipro...
Then we thought ok, let’s go in and have the breakfast.. We both went inside on the lawn where all the REAL runners were resting and having their breakfast... We took one box each and sat in a corner.. In the box, we found something similar to a Tuna Puff- My favorite!, a Cup cake, A bottle of Appy and some coconut biscuits...Hmm yummy!! We both looked at each other were laughing!! We are not worthy of this, as we didn’t even run 200meters!! But, we were not that bad to waste the food we took.. But then, I found that, the puffs I got was empty inside!! And the same with KUMBA!! We felt, what the FISH!!! Azim Premji is not that kanjuse to have a breakfast of this kind!! But then we realized, only we both got empty puffs... May be the makers would have forgot or purposefully wouldn’t have filled inside some of them and God kept those for us!! Hmm... We both looked at each other again, and said, God is great!!But we never gave up, we carried on eating the remaining and finished it in hurry and left the place quickly!!
While coming out of the Wipro main gate, The posters read this way – Spriti of Wipro… and my mind was saying, "Run Jithu Run!! Run and escape!!!!!!!!!"

The friendship day, that could never forget...
Yea it was on 3rd of August... I was in my room as I was on sick leave... My shoulder was injured in the previous day's match. My best buddy was in Bangalore with me as he landed from Dubai last week and had come to Bangalore for couple of days. He was staying with me. We reached our room by 7 in the night after some shopping and meetings. By the time we reached room some of our friends were waiting to meet him. He had brought a Johnny walker Black label full bottle for his friends... And all were having a good time with lots of food, cool drinks etc. All of them were certified drunkards that they finished the full bottle in 30mins and had to go outside and buy one more bottle...all were drunk and were making noise and i was struggling to control them so that the owner who lives in the first floor won't come down and throw me out.. In the meantime, my buddy was so desperate to show his capacity by accepting a challenge to drink so called BOMB - which is actually beer mixed with scotch whiskey(said to be a deadly combination by professionals). It was said that after having one peg of bomb, the person would lose his senses in not more than 5mins and will be flat. My buddy was already 4 pegs down, still accepted the challenge and had not 1, not 2 but 3 bombs. He was so happy to see that he is all fine after 3 bombs! By then all others also had enough and left the place by 1AM leaving me and my best buddy in the room..
I was about to sleep then I saw the after effects of the so called BOMB! I could see colorful texture made up of afternoon Mexican wave pizza to the last eaten grilled chicken on my floor. So on the friendship day, I was all alone cleaning up all the outcome of so called BOMB on my bed and the floor. I asked my buddy to go to the bathroom and wash his face... Then I heard a sound Bang!! I rushed into the bathroom and all I could see is that my wash basin is fell down and broken as he was using it to support his body!!
So I had to keep it aside and take him to the bed. And at 2.40AM when I went to bed, all i had in mind is how to get it fixed without letting my PG owner know about that! So I was about to shutdown my laptop, so when my friend saw me online that time, called me up and asked, "Hey buddy, wasup? Are you still awake? How was the friendship day? I think you are having a great time!” I was struggling to find new words to describe him my happiness #$#@$%#%#!$!#$!#$*)*()%@$.
But we all had real fun... After all its friendship... it’s all there in the game! :) But I must say one thing - The OUTCOME of BOMB really sucks!!!
PS: As the hero do not want to spoil his reputation for having a huge capacity and stamina, he had requested me not to tell about this incident to anyone else. Hence, I am not revealing his name!! - But i am sure, You people can easily guess the person Hee heee ... no harm meant :P

Feeling nostalgic...
I still remember, it was raining when I left home for the first time for my studies to NTTF... I don’t know why I feel so nostalgic whenever it rains.. Here sitting in the office on a boring Sunday evening with a cup of Nescafe black coffee in my hand, my mind slipped into the past… The time which I could never get back in my lifetime again… When I think about that reality, I feel very sad… In fact it tells me… I am getting old… Yea.. I am no more a kid… It makes me really sad because I love to keep a naughty kid inside me all the time... But at times when I behave like a child, people used to ask me – “Have you gone nuts?” But it doesn’t affect me at all… I love to act like a kid at times – at least to my parents... to my sister… while playing with her kid, in fact any kids… while being in the midst of my dear friends… Some people do understand me; but some might think that I am not matured… But no one knows that it’s a matured guy trying to go back to his younger days… trying to do what he enjoys doing… And I must tell that I will do the same no matter what others say… I enjoy being a kid until unless it’s not required to be so…
Now I am in a perfect mood to get into a nostalgic mood... Slow melodies in the background… nobody nearby me in the office on a Sunday eve…Hot Nescafe … kind of cloudy climate… perfect... Last time when I had gone to my hometown, It was raining when I landed from the bus… after getting down out of the bus, I caught an auto and while going I saw my schools (LP, UP and the High school), the school ground… they all were telling me stories… I reached my home sweet home… As usual my Mom was waiting for me at the door step after preparing my favorite idly and Onion Chatney… She looks tired, but never expresses it when I am around – something only a mother could do… My 7 years old cat is still there with her 7-8 kittens of different ages… are they also telling me some stories?
I sleep in my parents’ room whenever I go home… I went to my room upstairs… nobody uses it now… but all the memories are still living in there… My old cricket kit… My posters… ohh… I felt sad when I felt that I would never be going to my college with my kit again… I could have sold it off… But I did not… I had a dream of my son learning cricket basics with those…I know it won’t last that long… but still no need to pay for hoping so :)… I walk around my house in my every visit… every room.. Every corner… all those tell me different stories… just a quick revision of the past, like reading main points before the exam bell…

There my old friends were waiting for me… 2-3 of them had come from abroad for a short vacation and will be going back in a week’s time… So wanted to spend some good time with them… We all had real fun.. We played a cricket match while it was raining cats and dogs. It’s not the match we were crazy about, but the time we get to have together with all the old memories… we were really like young kids playing cricket in that rain… Those who were traveling in the buses and other vehicles were looking at us like anything but who cares? (:-P) We were not done yet… Soon after finishing the match… we went to the paddy field at around 4.30PM… climate is the same… only difference if it was cricket in the afternoon, now it’s the time for playing football!! (:D)Heavy rain…
The other day I spent completely sitting inside my house and shopping with my dad and mom… It was so cloudy that at 1PM it looked like its 7PM in the night! This time, I really enjoyed the beauty of Kerala… The pleasure of friendship… the comfort of family… A totally enjoyed trip I must say… And while coming back to Bangalore with a pack of my mom-made sweet ADA for my friends in Bangalore, it was still drizzling… It has come not just to send me off with a heart full of memories but tempting me to make another trip to my home sweet home….

live show on the move...
I was on my way to hometown on a Saturday night... We (Unisys cricket team) had a cricket match in the afternoon which lasted till 5.30PM! We all were happy in the end as we won that close match but I got damn tired by the time I got inside the bus... The bus was almost empty... Some 10-12 people that’s it... May be because of that they did not play any movie :(... I was getting bored…
Soon after 15-20 minutes (we hadn’t even crossed the city limits...) I heard people shouting from behind… I looked back with anxiety… I could see 3-4 guys were having an argument with a decent looking guy... Something interesting! The decent looking guy was in a Green T-shirt with specs… and other 3-4 guys were not that decent looking… one among them was a giant.. A huge black fat guy… The actual problem was that, they are shouting at the Green t-shirt guy that he did something with one of their friend’s wife who sits just in front of that guy. The Green T-shirt guy says that he did not do anything… but these guys are shouting and shouting… At first it was just an argument… but they started hitting him… that poor guy was trying to hit back... But that huge black guy was too big to resist… After getting 3-4 blows on his face, the bus owner came to the scene from the cabin and calmed down the situation… He was brought to the front seat and made to sit there… though the Green shirt guy was saying that he did not do anything, the giant guy insisted on taking him to the front seat… The woman also said he did something with his hands from behind… he kept on saying he did not do that… The way he was looking and talking it was hard for me to believe that he did something of that sort… That giant guy was drunk… And I felt that this poor guy (green T-shirt) would have tried to open the glass window and that lady would have misunderstood as he is trying to do something else.
I have no idea who is lying. Either case, it’s none of my business as I am not disturbed as such. Anyways it’s all calmed down now… I fell asleep soon… I woke all of a sudden hearing some strange sounds… When I stood up all I could see is that the giant black guy shouting and kicking that poor Green shirt guy… When I leaned over the seats, I could see him on the floor, taking each and every kick from the black guy on his chest and stomach... I felt like I am watching a live WWF program inside the bus! He was lifting him and throwing him to the floor… very soon the owner came to the scene again and started shouting at them. Even the owner was drunk... He was trying to threaten the giant guy by saying - “If you don’t keep quiet, I will hit you…” (It was very funny to listen to his dialogs as he was not even half of that giant guy!!) May be this is what we call as ATTITUDE (:-P)
The reason for the second fight, I got to know after sometime… This Green T-shirt guy went to that woman when the bus stopped for dinner and asked about the matter… those guys were not there, they went out for dinner… she stayed back as she had to take care of her kid… And later once they came back, she told them the story and they again got provoked… He threatened them as well saying he will take revenge for what they did to him when they reach his hometown and all… rest was history (:-D). And at Palaghat next day morning he (The Green T-shirt guy) got down without speaking a word… Without looking at anybody… very silently he went off… Though those guys were expecting him to say something… No matter what others say, I really felt sad for that guy…
I seriously believe that the Green T-shirt guy would have felt insulted in front of other for something which he hadn’t done… and maybe he wanted to prove his innocence or take revenge on those guys… That’s quite natural, I won’t blame him… He should have finished it by saying a sorry and not by going for an argument to a group of arrogant drunkards… Anyways, I still can’t forget that Green T-shirt guy’s face… For a while I was just thinking being in his shoes… It would have been very irritating for me for a very long time, if something that sort happens to me… And I don’t know how I would be reacting to such situation… Ohh God please don’t test me with these sorts of situation ever in life!!

The Unforgettable Treat!
2 weeks ago, I received a mail from my friend - Sangy, saying that she is coming to Bangalore on her way back to Pune from Paris. She had been to Paris for some official (God only knows!) trip. She was asking me to meet up once she come there as its been long time since we all met. Also she asked me to coordinate with Munch, another stupid friend of mine... In fact both these friends of mine are going to getting married soon and hence I'v been expecting a treat from both of these (though both of them are big time misers...). Also there was another common friend of me and Sangy, her name is Anu (happily married and settled in balgalore) who is working in my company. She asked me to check whether she can meet with her as well. We have been communicating through emails.. She was replying to all our mails very interestingly until I sent Sangy a small list of items (very obvious) which she was requested/ordered to bring from Paris (idiot, Kanjuse #$@#!$!#$)... after that no response!! She just sent a mail to us saying that she will meet us on Friday.. That’s it!!How mean!
My plan was - to meet, both Sangy and Munch, get treats from both of them and then take Sangy to Anu's house so naturally she will also treat us with some feast as we have never been to her house before.. Ahem ahem.. And I called up Anu and told, I will take Sangy to her house by around 4PM so that she can prepare Chicken biriyani :) I told her That is what Sangy expect( ME)..).. To my surprise, Anu agreed!!! ahem ahem.. I thought 4PM meal is fixed now. Now lunch.. Munch recently got engaged, so that treat is also pending... Ahem ahem.. To my surprise all have agreed to treat!! God, what’s happening!! ahem ahem...
So Friday morning after the work, I reached room.. I was trying to install a game (NFS) in my laptop.. but it was giving some stupid error and because of that i couldn't sleep till 11, as I went to bed, I got Munch's call saying Sangy has reached and we shall meet up at 12PM in forum mall. I said, You guys carry on, I shall catch up by 4pm.. Then she said - “no no.. Sangy is sponsoring lunch for us.. So let’s all meet by 1pm only..” Ok fine, I agreed. I took bath and went straight to Forum mall.. From there I called them up... They said, they are in Westside, doing some shopping.. My first mistake.. I went to a shopping center to meet them.. I really did not understand even after they got nothing to buy they were checking out each and every products.. I was like @#$!#$!##!$...
After some 40mins of so called shopping, we came out.. Then she was asking lets have snacks, because Sangy's cousin brother would be joining us for the lunch.. I thought great.. Let me start killing Munch first, then lunch with Sangy then 4pm chicken biriyani with Anu.. But then I came to know, that stupid Anu had chosen second shift and escaped silently.. :( - Chicken biriyani cut! However as Munch asked what we will have, I said, ok lets have 1 bucket chicken from KFC.. They both said yes, and went inside.. I was outside as if I was busy with a phone call.. Smart na ;)
but they turned out smarter than me.. They came back to me and started saying “we are treating you with lunch, you treat us with snacks!!!" Though I tried to resist for a while, I had to give up as people started staring at us.. So one bucket KFC chicken sponsored by me!! :( How sad!
As soon as we finished that, Sangy said, hey cousin has come, let’s go and have lunch now..She thought she is smart, as after having a bucket of KFC chicken our stomach would been full. But she never knew me... ha ha ha.. We straight away went to Empirer and where I ordered items by looking at the right hand side part of the menu!! :D Chicken kabab, chilly chicken, fish fry, chilly prawns, chicken biriyani, mutton biriyani, prawns biriyani, bla bla bla.. I didn’t even know which all dishes i ordered, though I could hear Sangy yelling, you order whatever you want, but make sure you eat everything... ahem ahem... We spend nearly 2 hours and then its was Munch's turn... She also thought, now she can easily offer anything, as after KFC, then Empire there would be much space left inside our stomach to empty her pocket!! ahem ahem... Though we had ordered cold coffee and all from Empire, Sangy and me wanted much to take us to Cafe coffee day! she easily agreed, thinking which won't hurt her much! Poor Munch, She didn’t know that we are all prepared to have another feast at CCD!! ahem ahem.. There as well the RHS item ordering went on.. and she also got enough :D..
So finally, that day has become a memorable day for 3 of us! Only Sangy's Cousin Brother got escaped. I didn't know him personally, else ahem ahem... ;)
Finally while going back, Sangy gave me a big chocolate (The only thing she got me from France!!!) However, that day evening I exchanged it with Anu in the office for 2 Fish fries which she had prepared and brought for dinner!!(I love barter system :P) ahem ahem..
But in the end of the day, It was a memorable day as we had lots of fun laughing all the time... To be frank we all were laughing our heart out from 12PM onwards.... :) Had real fun.. Anu - You missed it... I life is blessed with friends like these.. :) Thanks to you all... Muaaah!!

Life is FUN
Hi all,
Good day to you all... I was wondering all these while about how different is life to each and everyone... If you just look at the each individual, you will realize that, everyone has everything in life - hope, love, affection, hatred, happiness, break ups, sorrows, loneliness, selfishness, attractions, frustrations, infatuations, crush, accidents, surprises and lot more other emotions and feelings those may not be able to define... Everyone experiences or go through these stages.. But not in a defined manner.. No one is sure about what, where and when things are going to happen... And I guess this uncertainty of life makes it more enjoyable at times.. Else there would be no fun...
So let me come to the matter here.. Last month I had been to my hometown to meet my parents and friends.. And my mom told me that we have some guests at home from US those were my Dad's best friend's (Peter Uncle) kids - Joji, Regi, Lizzy and her kid Akshay... Peter Uncle - We call him as "Chachan" and his family is very close to us... He and his wife are in US now. He could not come to India as he is very old and also suffering from amnesia... But his children say, Chachan still remembers my dad very well..
They used to come here once in 2 years or so. But this time I came to know that they have come here for an important function. i.e. Lizzy chechi's marriage. I was clueless as she had come with her kid Akshay - a 10 year old cute boy.. She is into her mid 30s but she looks not more than 25.. She looks so pretty with her very thick long hair (almost touching her back knees) she is a very humble and loving woman i have ever seen.. And I could not believe that she got divorced. And I knew that she has got a very decent job and earns huge there.. It was she who brought her husband to US after their marriage. I really felt bad for what happened to her life..
Then My mother explained me the real story..
Her husband actually used her to reach US and then he got addicted to drugs and also he had an affair with another woman. They got separated (She had to give half of her properties to him as per US rules) and he got married to that other girl. After that she was living with her kid alone for the last 5-6 years.. And now her kid little Akshay, wanted her to get married as he found that she might find it difficult to take care of things all alone.. (Hats-off to little Akashay). And I was amazed to hear that its because of his decision she decided to think of a second marriage... She is lucky to have a son like him...
Their engagement was on the day I reached my hometown. It’s just 9kms away from my house. Only 10-15 close family members and my family were present for that small function... There I saw different faces of life:
Happy but curious Lil' Alshay.. Very much tensed Lizzy chechi, as she is very much worried about her future husband.. May be she is still having the bitter past in her mind... Also I could see Joji uncle and Reji uncle with tensed faces as they are also worried about their little sister's second marriage [of course they are].. There are kids who are playing around.. Having fun... There was the priest who is doing the prayers for the new couple.. The new bridegroom and his family came all the way from 200KMS for this engagement function.. The photographer who is looking out to capture the less but important moments for them… Catering people are waiting to serve the food.... A lot of mixed emotions and feelings.. And Me who is watching all these silently in that hall.. Though I could see her smiling, knew that what was going through her mind.... Hmm.. All she can do is to pray to the God and be positive...
They were staying in our house for another 4-5 days before they left to US. And while we were just talking to each other one late night, they had told me how uncertain the life can be... They said they struggled a lot before they all got settled in US... and once they all settled in US they had lots of fun.. all of their siblings got married and settled in US.. They earn more than enough for a luxyary life... There wasn’t any chance for a sadness in their life.. But still it happened.. So they advised me, not to just be happy or worried about the situation what we are in right now... We should move on.. When we have a good time or a bad time, remember that there is a future awaiting us.. So be truthful to you and your family.. Believe in God... and have a wonderful life.. :)
Life has got all the ingredients to make a rare blend of happiness, love, sadness, loneliness, madness, hatred, fun, surprises etc... It’s you who decides how to mix it all together and whether to cry or laugh.. to feel sad or be happy... to be with friends or be alone...
It’s your life... blend it - the way you wanted! Have fun...

A real surprise!

Hey friends..
Its been so long since I wrote something here.. Was bit busy with some official and personal work all this while... however, I got to share a glad news here with you all... I hope, you all would have read the post about my great phone friend Manjukkuty! (http://i-am-jithu.blogspot.com/2008/02/waitingwith-heart-full-of-hopes.html). In fact i was in tears while writing both the posts... The difference is that the first one was written with a broken heart... But this one is with a more relaxed mind...
It was on a boring Sunday of May, I was surfing through the internet... downloading movies... Chit chatting with some of my friends, reading movie reviews etc.. But suddenly, I got to see an alert for someone just logged in... I was half sleepy but shocked to see the person who just logged in... Its my dear friend Manjukkutty! For a while I felt like I might be dreaming... Because I used to day dreams those days... but then she pinged me..." Jithuchettayeee....".. I was like... Shocked to believe my senses... In fact I was forced to believe that she had passed away after her surgery as I didn’t get to hear from her for such a long period.. I asked her "is it really you or someone else.." then she replied with her regular humor sense.. "No its my soul from heaven chatting with you...".. I was so happy to see her in her normal mood.. Then I asked her about the surgery and all.. she replied "No one can take me that easily to the top world as I had put on lots of weight these days". The same old naughty manjukkutty!
In fact I couldn’t talk to her much, as she had to sign out.. But she told me the whole story in short.. She had successfully undergone the heart surgery and was taking rest at her brother's house in Chennai... She is completely out of danger now.. And the doctors said it’s a miracle to get her back to life.. She still needs to take rest for some more months before she could get back to normal life... She just got a chance to come online from a laptop.. And she didn't miss that chance... :) [No wonder].
However, I am so happy to see her back in action... I wish her a great happy life ahead... I must thank you each and everyone who had shared their wishes and prayers for her long life... Thanks to all of you for your prayers and wishes..
Its a great feeling when we get to see someone back in life whom we believed to be lost for ever.. It is more pleasing when we get back our dear friend in a world where we lose friends everyday!
All I need to tell you people is just one thing - God is great; trust him and he will never let you down...
Good day!

L.I.F.E. is a pain...
Carrying a heavy heart full of pain…
I didn’t know that I was crying…
I didn’t know that my eyes were wet…
I saw many friends of mine…
But no one could see me crying…
I guess my tears were so small…
To cheat my friend's eyes...
May be I am worrying too much…
May be I’ve gone emotionally mad…
May be my nerves are dying…
Or may be it’s me who is dying….
How long I can hold it? I am not sure,
But as long as I hold it,
I will hold it with a smile…
I will hold it with a smile…
I wish if no one could see me crying…

Baby, just can't let you go..
Hey baby... ohh baby...
It’s you who made me feel that i am loved...
It’s you who taught me the meaning of love...
It’s you who made me smile when I was totally down...
It’s you who gave me a hand while I was drowning in loneliness...
How could I smile when your eyes are wet?
How would I sleep when you have nightmares?
When I can’t even stand a tear in your eyes,
Tell me baby how will I let you go away from me?
It’s you with whom I shared all my feelings..
It’s you with whom I enjoyed the pleasure of being loved...
It’s you baby with whom I learnt the meaning of real love...,
And it’s you whom I love the most... Yes, it’s you dear!
Let me cry, when you feel sad,
I can’t stand when you cry so loud...
Let me take the pain, when you are hurt,
I can’t stand when tears rolls over your cheeks...
Please baby, please... wipe off your tears...
Leave all your worries and sorrows...
I don't want you to feel sad anymore,
Lets have a new beginning with all happiness, Lets have a life...
No matter what happens, I will be there for you dear…
Holding your hands... standing by you....
To kiss you, to hug you, to love you…
Till my very last breath, I will be there for you...
I just want to tell you something...
Just can’t leave you for anything, I will never...
You are mine, and only mine,
Baby, just cant let you go...

LIFE - is full of seasons
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment. The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up. If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season.

Why Do People Struggle in Life??
I always wonder, why do we people struggle in their life?? I believe that our destiny is decided byour attitude in life and not by anything else... I would like to define struggle as "An emotional and mental state where we find our life deviating from the way we wish to have to a stage where we never wish to get into..." But ee cannot classify this at any point of time... Because it’s totally up that individual to decide whether he or she is struggling or not...
If an individual cannot enjoy or did not satisfy about the place in life where he stands, which makes him feel that he is struggling... If there is happiness in everything we do, then there is no struggling, because no one would complain or frustrated of their happiness... And if even after being happy they feel they are struggling.. there are some other terms like arrogance... greedy... etc...
But the most interesting thing that I have found out in life is that, though we have 99 things favouring us and if one thing doesn’t come out as much as we expected, then we feel very sad about it and get into such a state where we are struggling.. just because of that 1 thing we are not happy.. So what about the other 99 things which came in your way? Lets take the case of a millionaire, though he has money, Car, big house, servants, etc, he would not be happy if he fails in his love life, because that is something what he cannot buy... And because of that single failure his life might get screwd up... In the other end, The ordinary person might be happy in his love life, his kids.. his family.. but still, would be worried about other things in life like - House, Car, etc.
So, as I conclude, I strongly believe that the main reason for us to struggle is nothing but "Too much of EXPECTATION" in life... Because we often forget many good things and struggle in life because of expecting for something that never gonna happen...
So my dear friends... Deliver more Expect less... Live your life happily....
Keep smiling and wish you all a very happy Easter!

The real value of Relationship!
A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open.
He was late for office so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter.
The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its color and drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.
When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.
QUESTIONS:
1. What were the five words?
2. What is the implication of this story?
ANSWER:
The husband just said "I am with you Darling"
The husband's totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened. No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband.
That is what he gave her. If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
" Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness, and fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think.
MORAL OF THE STORY
This story is really worth reading. ..... Sometimes we spend time in asking who is responsible or whom to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know. By this way we miss out some warmth In human relationship.
